Use this page to register to speak in-person or virtually at an upcoming City Council meeting. You may register to speak on a specific agenda item or during general Public Comment. If you would like to submit an eComment or view the full City Council agenda and supporting documentation, visit www.cityoforange.org. 

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with meeting information and instructions for participating.

How to Register to Speak

1. Select the upcoming City Council meeting you would like to attend.
2. Click Register.
3. Select your participation method: In Person or Virtually.
4. Remote speakers must register using the same telephone number they will use to call into the meeting.
5. Select the agenda item(s) you would like to speak on or select Non-Agenda Public Comment.
6. Submit your registration. You will receive a confirmation email with meeting details and instructions for speaking.

On the Day of the Meeting

In Person:

Check in with the City Clerk when you arrive. When your name is called, proceed to the podium to speak. Please remain within the announced speaking time limit.

Virtually by Phone:

Call (714) 912-1780 and enter meeting code 10872# using the same phone number you used to register. You may listen to the meeting by phone while you wait to speak. When it is your turn, you will be prompted to speak. 

Important

Advance registration is required to speak virtually during Public Comment. If you do not pre-register, you will not be able to participate in Public Comment virtually.
